Brian from Civic Pixel just let me know that he put together the Media Mover Remove module. In a nutshell, the module helps reduce file cruft by deleting extra files that were creating during a Media Mover run. You can find out about the use case that spurred this functionality.

Media Mover issues
- Fatal error: Call to undefined function media_mover_api_get_configuration() in modules/media_mover/modules/mm_auto_run/mm_auto_r
- mm_s3 calls dl() in hook_requirements, dl() is disabled in PHP 5.3
- Any 1.x -> 2.x migration code/scripts available to build off of?
- MM Auto Run needs higher weight so it runs after other modules which process file uploads
- Include SFTP support to MM File FTP Module
