Long over due, the first release of the Drupal 6 version of Media Mover is finally out. While there are several modules in the suite that are not finished in porting or fully tested, the core modules are ready for daring people to try out at this point. Please read the release notes which have some information about which modules are functional.

Nice work Arthur! I'm relealing the Drupal 6 version of the asset module today so I'll double check the mm_asset module. "Horray" and "It is about time" indeed for the both of us :)
I'm currently reviewing Aaron's "Drupal Multimedia" book and there's a nice part about Media Mover in Chapter 7: File Asset Management:
It contains the note that by the time the book comes out, Media Mover might not have been ported to Drupal 6 yet. I'm glad it did!
